Day delegate rates have been reduced for those wanting to attend this event and will cost only £65 per person. Note this does not include dinner on Friday but does include lunch.
ABCUL Young Professionals Network Dedicated Session
Led by a Steering Committee of young professionals from across the sector, the Network will hold its first event during the ABCUL Annual Conference with a separate, dedicated session from 1pm to 3.45pm on Friday 8th March.
The session will be facilitated by US-based credit union expert Dr Brandi Stankovic, and will focus on personal leadership development, coaching and emotional intelligence. In this energetic and inspiring session, participants will discuss: engagement, accountability, motivating the young and driving strategic initiatives. Young leaders must exemplify the culture they expect and model the way. Participants will also discuss the fast-moving world of financial services, the strategy for capitalising on change, and the approach to taking healthy risks from a leadership perspective.
Those taking part in the Young Professionals Network session will then re-join the main conference agenda for the final plenary of the day which will see ABCUL launch its member consultation which is aiming to define the vision for ABCUL and the credit union sector for the next 5 years.
